Hello Readers,
I just wanted to touch base with you about the estimate process, and this is for those who have experience with moving companies, and those that don't. The main key, is to be absolutely truthful with whomever you are discussing your move with, whether it is an over-the-phone representative, or an in-home representative. I'm not saying which is the better quote to receive, because it is based solely on situation circumstances. A good base to start from is knowing whether or not you want to do all of your own packing or if your going to want the moving carrier to pack for you. Involved with 'packing' is the cost of the material which you'll want to know up front. Secondly, you want to make sure that the moving company is not a 'lemon', in other words, that they don't use temporary help to cover jobs. All of our movers for example have at least, a 5 year experience minimum. Thirdly, trust your gut. If you don't feel comfortable with the representative that is providing you with the quote, maybe there is a reason for it! Stay tuned for further updates, as I will try to be as helpful as possible for all of our loyal customers.
